Style Guide (its own page)

Heraldry & Symbols

  • The Story Tree: Center of the camp. Its branches hold memory; its roots drink story.

  • The Crow: Steward of meaning, guardian of stories, symbol of the Lunar Throne.

  • The Fox: Keeper of strength and shelter, symbol of the Solar Throne.

Camp banners should feature one or more of these icons, in the Dendronian color palette (see below).

Color Palette & Textures

  • Primary Colors: Deep violet, black, forest green, silver.

  • Accents: Copper, pale gold.

  • Textures: Natural fabrics, carved wood, flowing layers, knotted rope, feather & fur details.

Garb Guide

  • Must Have:

    • Natural or dark fabrics (wool, linen, cotton, leather).

    • Layers, cloaks, belts, sashes.

    • Small symbolic detail (feather, knot, fox-tail motif, silver clasp).

  • Nice to Have:

    • IC props with story weight (journal, trinket, carved token).

    • Subtle lights for night play (lanterns, glowing mushrooms).

    • Extra layers for the #TheDarkOnion effect.

  • Avoid:

    • Bright neon colors.

    • Plastic shine.

    • Overtly modern patterns.

Camp Décor Plan

  • Ritual Grove: Enclosed, shaded, fabric-draped, lantern-lit, with Story Tree centerpiece.

  • Thronespace: Elevated or curtained-off area for Solar & Lunar Thrones (visible, but with dignity).

  • Communal Fire: Heart of camp life; stories traded here nightly.
