Concept

From a world far beyond Mythodea, two mighty fey have found their way through the mist and to Mitraspera, where rumors have it that they offer both shelter and a place to thrive for anyone who wishes to trade the stories of their past – or future – adventures for a place in this slowly forming collective. Whether a refugee from another world, a wanted criminal, a noble fighter, or an inquisitive scribe, anyone will find a place to call home and the opportunity for greatness in these noble ranks.


Out-Of-Time Description

Kit and Madi’s characters are two Archfey from another world who have come to Mitraspera because of its unique ability to pull in people from other realms. Their magic is fueled by stories, and what better place to collect stories than where anyone can come from anywhere?

While not the same type of fey as those originating from Mitraspera, they are quite powerful. They have used this power to carve out a haven safe from outside threats. This haven is called The Grove of Dendronia and is open to all as long as they help Fox and Crow further their collection of stories.

Fox and Crow have the power to bring people to the realm of Mitraspera and provide passage out of it. They are known to have ample coins and magical items to reward those who facilitate their quest. Characters could be part of the camp for various reasons: access to that coin and magic, protection from outside threats, the promise of adventure, or simply because they have nowhere else to go. Fox and Crow welcome all… as long as they earn their place.

In-Time vs Out-Of-Time Leadership

Dendronia’s leadership is divided between the In-Time (IT) roles that govern the in-game realm of Dendronia and the Out-of-Time (OT) roles that handle the real-world administration of the camp and community. This guide outlines how each leadership structure functions and interacts, both in-game and out-of-game, to ensure the smooth operation of Dendronia.


Out-Of-Time Leadership


Out-of-Time Leadership are called “Camp Leads” or “OT Leads”.

The Out-of-Time Leadership oversees Dendronia's real-world administration and logistics, ensuring the camp runs smoothly before, during, and after events. This team manages everything from event planning and organization to physical setup and the online community.

In-Time Leadership are called “Dendronian Leaders” or “IT Leaders”.

The In-Time Leadership of Dendronia are the Characters that run parts of Dendronian’s government. The people who play these characters sometimes also fill OT Leadership roles, but the two are not inherently linked.

DENDRONIAN GROUPS


In-Time Groups

Dendronia is a young camp that is still developing groups and customs inside it. Any member of Dendronia is free to organize a group with other members to pursue common interests.

There are two different types of groups in Dendronia. Camp-Run Groups and Individual-Run Groups.


Camp-Run Groups


Camp-Run Groups are refered to as “Branches”.

Camp-Run Groups are parts of the Dendronian government. They are organized and run for the benefit of all members of the Grove and report in to the IT Leaders of the camp. They are often led by IT Leadership and work to facilitate different types of gameplay within the camp for the members.

Individual-Run Groups


Individual-Run Groups are refered to as “Organizations”.

Individual-Run Groups are groups created and run by any individual in Dendronia. They are NOT run by the Dendronian government and do not report into IT Leadership unless they decide it is part of how their group functions. Any member of Dendronia is free to create and organize their own groups, guilds, banners, etc within Dendronia.
